About this opportunity

Middlewood Joinery & Interiors Ltd have a vacancy for an administration apprentice, supporting the business with offering communications to customers both existing and new, along with supporting the work of internal employees.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Working closely with the Office Manager as the Administration assistant, The role will involve administrative tasks including, but not limited to:

• Using Microsoft Office, Xero, Hubdoc & Fieldwire (all will be trained up)
• Answering general calls
• Dealing with email correspondence
• Inputting of data onto excel spreadsheets including payroll, holidays and all supplier details
• Providing good customer service both internally and externally when required
• Providing direct administrative support to the md and the project manager on a day-to-day basis
• Overseeing the running of the office
• Managing diaries & on-site employers & projects

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:
Excellent work experience
End-Point Assessment (EPA)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full-time employment prospects for the right apprentice upon completion of level 3 apprenticeship.
