Communications and Marketing Apprentice

About this opportunity

The communications and marketing apprentice will support the company director in implementing marketing strategies for a range of clients in the highways and construction industry.

Main duties will be:

• Support the director in creating the company marketing strategy
• Create social media content (for company and clients)
• Create content for clients such as case studies, reports and press releases
• Researching current marketing trends
• Support with social value initiatives
• Support with the planning of client events
• Keep company records updated and organised

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.

What you should have to apply

GCSE English and Maths A*-C/9-4
Having A Levels in English, Media or a related subject would be advantageous

Be able to travel to the office in Wigan town centre for two/three days a week
Flexible and adaptable

Skills

Good IT skills in Microsoft 365
Genuine interest in Marketing & Social Media
Good Level of spoken & written English
