Accounts Administration Apprentice
About this opportunity
This is an excellent position for the right person to take the first step into payroll. The role will be extremely varied and expose the individual to a large variety of tasks helping to build up a strong skill set within our payroll function.
A normal day would include:
• Checking manual and computerised timesheets
• Processing information using computerised payroll systems
• Understanding budgeted allowance per site to enable:
• Entering of individuals actual payroll attendance, compare against budgeted allowance.
• Calculating hours worked against allowed budget for any variances
• Raise an alarm if hours are exceeded and follow the process for recharging
• Similarly, an awareness of under hours worked and the need for any potential credit notes to be raised
• Understand and follow boundaries per site using our geofence software
• Training will be given on the two payroll software systems: Cleanlink and Timegate
What you could go on to do
In time provide further payroll analysis for use around the business and links with finance for management accounts.
