About this opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Accounts Apprentice at SQK Accountancy! Gain hands on experience in preparing annual accounts, tax returns and other crucial areas of accountancy. There will be full study support towards Level 3 AAT.
The level 3 Accountancy Apprenticeship position offers you the chance to gain hands-on experience alongside professionals using the latest Accountancy software to develop crucial skills in the Accountancy industry. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Preparation of Annual Accounts from start to finish, including company tax returns
• Completion of personal tax returns
• Payroll processing
• Bookkeeping including VAT Returns and reconciliations
• Use of Accountancy software (Xero, Quickfile, Quickbooks)
• Ad hoc responsibilities
• Potential for other areas of Accountancy (R&D claims, independent examinations, management accounts)
We are a young vibrant team based in a casual dress shared office space 8 minutes away from Manchester City Centre. You will receive all the necessary support to develop into a full Level 3 Accountant as well as the potential for Level 4 AAT and ACCA in the future.
You will have a crucial role at SQK Accountancy being an important member of the team diving into various responsibilities from day one. Your role will contribute towards the success of the team as we have a fast-learning approach.
