The Social media marketing apprentice will participate in the development of all content marketing, social media engagement and customer communications work across our business. Ensuring that our external communications landscape is well maintained.
A normal day would include:
• To participate in the management of the inboxes for the company on Hubspot CRM - overseeing Facebook / Instagram and Whatsapp messages from external contacts; updating their profiles and developing new leads into enquiries
• To liaise with the school management teams and review Google Photo content to develop external communications collateral:
• Social Media posts across all channels - video / image / blog etc using the company’s Canva account
• Weekly newsletters to go to existing clients and staff
• Promotional content to generate sales leads
• To ensure that all design assets (photos / graphics / video etc) on Canva and Hubspot are given appropriate file names (so we can search for reuse); and filed in the correct folder (so they can be found) and to sort out the assets that are already there into a clear, organised administrative structure for ease of use
• To manage and oversee and regularly update / communicate through the company’s:
• Facebook Business Pages
• LInkedin Company Page
• Google My Business Pages
• Twitter
• Instagram
• Tiktok
• Youtube
• To manage and respond to any / all external reviews / comments / feedback and online activity across these channels
• To research, map (on to Hubspot CRM and social media accounts) and engage key stakeholders and local business partners and third party listing sites in the geographies we operate in (City of London / Pimlico / Rotherhithe) - like / share and follow their content to develop reciprocal marketing strategies from those groups
• To draft blogs (relevant to our key messaging / sector news) for the company that drive’s interest in and sales activity towards our school group:
• CEO Blog
• Hatching Dragons Blog
• City Blog
• Westminster Blog
• Canada Water Blog
• To regularly update the Hubspot CMS website with new content (blogs) and maintain / work through and update the SEO recommendations on the platform to maximise reach with our stakeholders
• To liaise with our Digital Advertising executive on key messages / search terms and SEO strategies for the site
• To participate in the development of our campaign strategies on Hubspot Marketing so that key messages on events / activities and educational initiatives are communicated in a timely manner
• To generate the social media assets for and communications programmes for all events on eventbrite and to maintain and develop our inhouse website pages on events
