A normal day would include:
• Helping with cleaning equipment and tidying after play
• Keeping accurate records of achievement files of the children for parents
• Planning a range of activities to suit the children’s stages of development
• Ensuring that mealtimes are a time of pleasant social sharing
• Encouraging children to participate in activities
• Ensuring the provision of a high-quality environment meets the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development
• Working as part of a team with other staff members and liaising with parents
Tiny Turtles provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment where children can discover and learn through play. They have great career progression on offer to candidates that prove themselves to be an asset to the nursery, and fit in with their friendly supportive team. Tiny turtles may require the successful applicants to complete a Traineeship before the Apprenticeship.

You could progress onto Childcare Level 3.
