Due to growth, we now have a vacancy for an Estimator Apprentice to join our team to support our business in offering communications to customers both existing and new.
What will the apprentice be doing?
The role will involve administrative tasks including, but not limited to
• Prepare quotations from drawings and specifications received from prospective clients
• Ensure tenders are prepared to strict deadlines
• Maintain and collate information for handover to design department.
• Liaise closely with clients/architects/other departments
• Assist Sales Director and other team members where necessary
• Develop a broad understanding of structural design and architectural detailing, as well as commercial aspects of the industry
• Training will be provided
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full-time employment prospects for the right apprentice upon completion of level 3 apprenticeship.

GCSE or equivalent English and Maths grade 9-4/A*-C
• You will need enthusiasm, the right attitude and be hard working
• A degree of confidence and be well presented
• Reliable and have excellent timekeeping
• You will have a drive and determination to push yourself to succeed
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/plans/specifications
• Experience/qualification within the construction industry would be beneficial. But not essential
• Excellent Maths, English and grammar skills are essential
• An eye for detail and methodical
• Ability to work alone or as part of a closely integrated team
• Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
A great opportunity to join a growing business as a Business Administration Apprentice. The role will be varied and you will be exposed to a variety of different tasks.
Through our programme, you will work as an apprentice Business Administrator supporting the extended leadership as an integral part of the academy’s support workforce.
An interesting opportunity is available at BCD Logistics LTD. The role is to learn all aspects of administration, assist with daily admin tasks such as filing and data input. This will include working closely with the transport and fleet departments.
