About this opportunity

Do you love the outdoors? Are you passionate about helping children connect with nature and explore the world around them? Sunflower Children's Centre is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Forest School Apprentice to join our vibrant team.

Some of your main duties will be:

• Plan and lead exciting outdoor activities for preschool-aged children in our Forest School
• Foster a love for nature, encouraging children to explore, learn, and grow in a natural setting
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children at all times.
• Assist with setting up outdoor/Indoor learning environments and maintaining equipment
• Develop your own skills through training, gaining hands-on experience in early childhood education and outdoor learning.
• To work as part of a team
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions

How you will be supported
No previous experience is necessary – just a positive attitude and a love for outdoor education! Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.
