About this opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Project Coordinator to join the company to assist on client assignments. The emphasis and focus of the role is project administration, leading to installation as a Project Manager after 12 months.

Due to planned expansion in autumn/winter 2024-5 we have an opportunity for a Trainee Project Manager to assist on client assignments. It is not a sales-led role (we do not cold-call).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with projects/instructions, dealing with clients and candidates, following a proven step-by-step procedures guide and operating the company’s bespoke CRM system
• Identify, liaise with and interview candidates
• Upload latest vacancies on to the company’s website, partner job-boards and social media platforms
• Attend and contribute to regular team meetings and assignment reviews etc
• Represent the firm at corporate events, entertainment functions and 'open-days' etc

The Ideal Candidate:
• A bright and purposeful individual with ideally a relevant marketing-related qualification such as a BTec or A-levels in business studies, marketing, communications, economics, IT or digital media.
Applicants with other qualifications such as social studies or English will also be considered on merit.
• Well-organised, process-driven, highly professional and client-facing, with a cool temperament and the ability to multi-task under pressure
• Dynamic, energetic and self-starting
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal
• Can demonstrate a basic knowledge of the 'business landscape’ of northwest England - i.e. the regional map, main sectors/industries and travel times/distances etc

This a superb career stepping-stone opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual. Full mentoring is provided and support funding for P/T vocational qualifications is a possibility
The role is office-based in Manchester city centre and ideally situated for access via train, bus and Metrolink.
