About this opportunity

AAJ Construction are looking to recruit two Property Maintenance Apprentices to join their team. The role involves optimising property condition and quality, and to ensure the building is kept in a safe working condition.

Units you will work towards during your apprenticeship:

• Health and safety in property maintenance
• Apply customer service in property maintenance
• Carrying out painting and tiling tasks
• Plan and carry out preventative property maintenance
• Carry out plumbing maintenance and repairs
• Understand and maintain heating ventilation and air conditioning plant
• Internal and external building fabric maintenance
• Control of property maintenance related resources and equipment
• Working with external contractors Elective Portfolio Units
• Security and access systems in property maintenance
• Accessibility and inclusion in property maintenance
• Understand the roles responsibilities and reporting procedures of the property maintenance operative
• Understand energy environment and sustainable practice within property maintenance
