SPL Fire Safety have an amazing opportunity for someone wishing to become a fire safety professional. Initially, the work will entail administrative duties to understand the company CRM system to input data relating to potential and existing clients.
A normal day would include:
• Office admin
• Checking and highlighting emails
• Updating / monitoring the CRM system
• Supporting the business development manager
• Chasing invoices / quotations
• Social media support
• IT support (preferable, not a requirement)
• Arranging appointments for assessors / sending confirmation
• Requesting information from clients for the assessors
The above are considered to be the daily tasks. In addition, the apprentice may attend site with assessors, attend meetings with the Director / Business Support Manager.
The intention is to provide additional training and support once competent in their role to allow the right person to become a fire risk assessor and potentially to support them through a degree to become a fire engineer of the future.
Re driving, a driving license is not mandatory as the person will accompany another employee to any premises or event; however, going forward, it would be beneficial for the candidate to attain their driving license.
