Apprentice Warehouse Operative
About this opportunity
A brilliant role is available as an Apprentice Warehouse Operative in a busy warehouse in Bolton. This role involves despatching orders/picking orders/packing orders. Dealing with telephone enquiries and customer services desk.
This role will include:
• To create parcels for despatch using IT system in place
• Loading and unloading vehicles, using a forklift truck (when fully trained)
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping and manage waste effectively
• Work individually and as part of a team to safely move and handle objects
• Know where to find instructions or guidance. Take responsibility for maintaining health, safety, and security of people at all times
• Select, prepare, and use packaging inventory
• Operate and handle equipment safely and efficiently as required
• Delivering excellent customer service to customers and colleagues, including identifying needs and responding appropriately
• Deliver effective communication with customers and colleagues appropriately and in line with Brand values and company culture.
