PP Group have an exciting apprenticeship opportunity to join their busy sales team in Oldham. You will support the team with various tasks including sales admin, order processing, liaising with suppliers and customers.
A normal day would include:
• Support the Sales team in their duties
• Look after all sales administrative duties
• Must develop strong communication skills, as they will be required to regularly liaise with both customers and colleagues
• Identify materials, processes and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, drawings and related documentation
• To manage order processing accounts
• To provide a total breakdown of all costs relating to daily enquiries
• Liaise with customers to build, maintain and develop company relationships
• To develop technical knowledge as well as developing IT, CAD and system skills
• To understand the processes and materials that we supply by spending time out on the shop floor
• Visiting customers & suppliers to grow and maintain relationships
• To develop a portfolio of house accounts and then managed to their full potential
• To visit all new managed accounts with the aim of understanding their business needs as well as developing a good commercial relationship
• Follow up on all sales enquires that are over 24 hours old
• To manage and prioritise your own time and workload efficiently on a daily basis
• Ensure a high level of data base maintenance at all times
• The employee will also be expected to complete other reasonable requests and other administrative duties upon request
• Lead by example at all times
• To follow & complete the agreed training plan
