This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Customer Service apprentice in an education environment. The successful candidate will work on the campus frontline.
A normal day would include:
Working as a Customer Service Apprentice the main duties and responsibilities will be:
• Ensure all visitors are welcomed to the University
• Deal with enquiries and assist pupils, parents, and outside agencies according to office processes
• Arrange visits for parents and students to attend to for a tour around the campus premises.
• Deal with internal and external telephone calls in a professional manner, filtering calls as necessary and taking and distributing messages, giving information to enquires and accurately recording information received
• Make phone calls to parents, outside agencies and the LA following all office procedures on confidentiality
• Provide information and guidance to potential students regarding the education offering at Staffordshire university.
• Deal with incoming general emails, filtering and forwarding to the correct recipient
• Providing a high level of service when dealing with new and existing enquiries.
• Using the internal intranet to maintain records both manually and electronically, producing routine information as required
• Keep up to date with all the courses the University offers to students.
• Manage relationships with external partners to help generate student cohorts for the Degree programmes.
• Use the internal systems to log all activity.
• Distributing information to potential students and University partners.
At the end of your time with the University you will achieve the Level 2 Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship as well as valuable work experience, that will provide you with the best chance possible of being offered a full-time position.
