A fantastic opportunity involving all aspects of groundworks, road construction & general civil engineering and George Cox are offering an excellent chance to become a skilled tradesperson.

George Cox and Sons Ltd are a Civil Engineering and Highway Contractors working on behalf of Stockport Council and other neighbouring local authorities on long term framework contracts. As a result of an increase in works, George Cox are looking to increase their workforce.

Our Services include:
• High Spec Paving Schemes
• Landcaping & Country Parks
• Groundwork & Drainage
• Transport & Infrastructure
• Walls & Structures

As an apprentice at George Cox your role duties will include assisting lead tradesman in:
• Paving works
• Kerbing
• Laying tarmac
• Drainage works
• All other aspects of road construction and general civil engineering works

What you could go on to do
You can go on to become a skilled trades man in one specific area of construction or become a highly skilled multi trades man with the knowledge and skills to carry out and manage full building and renovation projects

How you will be supported
Full training and support will be provided by our expert training and assessment staff at The Skills Company.

What you could go on to do
Progress onto further construction related qualifications or move into site supervision or technical support.

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.
