About this opportunity

Working alongside an established team you will undertake all aspects of architectural design across a range of projects.

Duties will include and not limited to:

• Supporting the Technical team and liaise with other departments including Land, Commercial, Production.
• Working with the teams of in-house architects and engineers to bring projects forward from concept stage to reality.
• Tasks would include assisting with the preparation of layouts and compiling planning application, to commissioning and reviewing engineering designs and obtaining utility records for existing services.
• Preparation of working drawings including detail drawings, floor plans, sections and elevations.
• Site visits and survey of properties of all varieties.
• Good teamwork, communication and IT skills.
• AutoCAD / Sketchup / Microsoft Word / Microsoft Excel
• While you will be following a formal apprentice programme, you also be learning about the planning system.

You can progress to being a fully chartered architect RIBA accredited with the knowledge and skills to undertake full design, building and renovation projects.

Progress onto further construction related qualifications or move into site supervision or technical support.
