About this opportunity

The Ark Littleborough are looking for someone who is going to be committed, reliable, hardworking, and passionate about a career in childcare. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nursery that is fully supportive of it's staff training.

A normal day would include:
• Contributing to a programme of activities suitable to the age range of the children
• Supporting all staff and engaging in a good staff team
• Attending out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, parent’s evenings, summer fayre, Christmas party, etc.
• Providing help where needed, including to undertake certain domestic jobs within the nursery, e.g. cleaning of equipment and cleaning the play areas.
• Recording any accidents and filling out forms to record all accidents and incidents

The Ark Nursery has a warm and friendly atmosphere with light, spacious rooms and offers exciting provision for children aged 0-4 years. You will be required to complete a traineeship before starting the apprenticeship.

What you could go on to do:
You could progress onto early years education level 3 training.

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.
