Wall & Floor Tiling Apprentice (CC)

About this opportunity

R Emery is a Bury based wall and floor tiling company who specialise in commercial and domestic wall and floor tiling working across England.

Working alongside a fully qualified time served tiler you will be trained up in all areas of wall and floor tiling and will have to attend College on a day release basis as part of your apprenticeship.

Main duties will include:
Preparation of surfaces
Mixing adhesive
Marking and setting out
Cutting of tiles
Applying wall and floor tiles
General labouring.

This apprenticeship will suit someone who is happy work in all areas of the North West and occasionally other parts of England and you will gain a great in site into general construction as you will be working alongside various trades people on different construction jobs.

Ideally you will be based in or near the Bury area to organise pick up points or meet at site.

What you should have to apply

Ideally grade C in maths and english at GCSE level or functional skills level 1 or you will have to work towards your level 1 functional skill(s) whilst you attend College.

Personal Qualities

Good timekeeper, hard working, polite and happy to work around various areas of Greater Manchester.

Skills

Full training will be provided however, you must have good time management, be hard working, polite and happy to be attend College.
