We are proud to have recently received a glowing review from awarding organisation, Ascentis.
In April, Ascentis visited Lee House, Manchester to assess the quality of delivery of our Access to Higher Education Diploma. As a national training provider we are well equipped to deliver this diploma and other programmes.
Rosemarie Davies, Higher Education Manager said, “We always strive to ensure we provide a high-quality experience for our learners, so I was extremely pleased to learn that Ascentis had visited us and that we received such positive feedback from our learners and tutors alike. We continually review our processes and make improvements so that we can continue to provide a high level of service.”
During the visit Ascentis found:
- Learners have a positive experience on their course, with bespoke one-to-one support provided by tutors.
- Staff are knowledgeable and experienced so well placed to help learners on their journey.
- During the learner’s two-week induction period tutors help them to understand what lies ahead and the challenges they may face along the way.
- Tutors are very positive and enthusiastic about working at the centre and with learners.
- The centre provides an abundance of online resources.
- Detailed feedback from tutors enables students to improve their work.
- Internal moderation processes are robust, with a supportive team and environment.
- Student suggestions have been actioned by the centre on more than one occasion.
