In the meantime, it’s important to carry on with your learning and not let your progress fall by the wayside. We’re here to support you with your apprenticeship, traineeship or course via itslearning. By now, you should have received information on how to use the platform, and should be using it to virtually attend classes, communicate with your tutor, submit work and review any feedback.
If you’re having any problems accessing or using itslearning, please email your tutor for help and support.
Helping you to complete your apprenticeship
You should continue to complete your work from home and record it as part of your off-the-job training to ensure that your progress isn’t affected. If your usual place of work has to close due to Coronavirus, this won’t impact your apprenticeship.
We’re continuing to liaise with End Point Assessment providers, and are working hard to implement digital End Point Assessments for all apprenticeships. We’ll be in touch once we have a solution in place to let you know the processes and procedures for your final assessment.
Support for all our learners
Our skills coaches are working remotely, and are on-hand to set work, provide feedback and mark tasks. They’re also contactable via email, phone and itslearning if you have any problems or need any additional support with your study.
If you’re finding the lockdown situation tough, they can also signpost you to a wide range of mental health and wellbeing resources that can help you to stay happy and healthy during this uncertain and challenging time.
These are just some of the ways in which we can support our learners. If you would like to receive more information about our courses across Greater Manchester, visit our course pages or email info@gceducationandskills.ac.uk
Stay home. Stay safe. Stay on-track.
