The apprenticeship has replaced the Level 5 HR Consultant Partner Apprenticeship.

People Professionals will use their expertise to provide advice, views and challenge to the business in terms of attracting, recruiting, developing and retaining talent through to supporting positive employee relations and ensuring compliance with employment law.

They will also support on people related elements for a wide range of business projects and will work with stakeholders from within the People function and other business areas.

What does the course cover?

On this apprenticeship programme you will develop the following key learning areas:

  • Organisational performance and culture in practice
  • Evidence-based practice
  • Employment relationship management
  • Talent management and workforce planning
  • Reward for performance and contribution
  • Specialist employment law
When will I attend?

This is a work-based learning programme which is supported by:

  • Tutor-led interactive virtual workshops
  • Self-study modules on itslearning (pre and post-workshop)
  • Completion of CIPD approved written/practical assessments
  • Industry and teaching/coaching experts
  • Continuous reflective professional discussions
What will I achieve?

On successful completion, you will achieve a Level 5 People Professional Apprenticeship.

The underpinning qualification for this apprenticeship standard is the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management.

Prior to starting the programme, it is a mandatory requirement to become a student member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

On successful completion, there is the opportunity for progression to become an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

What are the entry requirements?

Ideally, applicants will hold a GCSE grade A*-C/9-4 in maths and English or equivalent. Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to completion of their apprenticeship..

How much does the course cost?

There is no charge to the apprentice. The funding band value for this apprenticeship standard is £11,000.
