The Level 2 Certificate in Information, Advice or Guidance develops learners’ knowledge and understanding of information, advice or guidance and how these are applied in their own context.

The qualification supports roles where learners may give initial information, advice or guidance to
others.

This course is FREE to individuals who:

  • Are employed or unemployed
  • Are a Greater Manchester Resident
  • Aged 19+
  • Earns less than £25,000

What does the course cover?

On this course, you will explore essential topics related to information, advice, and guidance practice.

The curriculum covers the following key areas:

  • Understand information, advice and guidance practice
  • Understand the interaction skills required for information, advice or guidance
  • Understanding signposting and referral in information, advice or guidance
  • Understand the context of information, advice and guidance
  • Understand skills required by advice providers
  • Understand the management of information Information, advice or guidance work with groups
What will I achieve?

On successful completion, learners will achieve a TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Information, Advice or Guidance.

Attendance

This course will be delivered online with attendance required one day per week, 9.30am - 2.30pm.

The day you attend will be either a Tuesday or Thursday depending on the start date.
