Still unsure about what you want to do? Customer service skills are in demand in almost any industry or job role, which means you'll have better job prospects in various fields. This course is the perfect choice for you.

If you are great with people, then customer service could be the career pathway for you. Customer service positions are available in nearly every sector, such as retail, financial services, hospitality, and sport and recreation.

The course will provide you with a solid introduction to the fundamentals of good customer service.

Your Study Programme will be tailored to meet your needs and will include one of the above qualifications, plus a combination of additional qualifications such as Essential Digital Skills, Health & Safety, and Maths and English (if needed). You will also have the opportunity to complete a work placement or work experience while studying with us.

When does the course start?

August and September 2024.

Don't worry if you are not ready to start with us in August or September, if we have space you can join this course throughout the year.

What does the course cover?

The level 2 in Customer Service covers all aspects of customer service, from understanding and meeting customer needs, giving a great customer experience, learning from feedback and promoting your products and services.

You'll complete the following units as part of your qualification: 

  • Delivery of effective customer service
  • Meeting and greeting customers
  • Supporting the customer service environment

If you do not hold the relevant English and maths qualifications, you will work towards them as part of this programme.

When will I attend?

Your attendance will depend on your timetable. We will go through this information with you in detail when you enrol.

Will I receive a bursary?

Yes, you will receive a bursary of up to £10.50* per day.

*Subject to adhering to the attendance and behaviour polices.

What will I achieve?

On successful completion you will achieve a Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service.

What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements however, you will need to attend an informal interview.

How much does the course cost?

The course is FREE for anyone aged 16-18 or 19-24 with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).
