The purpose of this Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems course is to help learners understand various mental health issues, such as stress, anxiety, depression, phobias, and dementia, and how to respond effectively. It is aimed at individuals working in mental health services who do not hold a formal professional qualification but want to build their knowledge and skills in this important area.

This course is FREE to individuals who:

  • Are employed or unemployed
  • Are a Greater Manchester Resident
  • Aged 19+
  • Earns less than £25,000

  • Understanding Dementia

  • Understanding Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Understanding Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD
  • Understanding Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
What will I achieve?

On successful completion, you will achieve an TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems.

Attendance

This course will be delivered online with attendance required every Tuesday 10am - 2.30pm for 15 weeks.
