Level 2 Award in Digital and IT Skills (Content Creation and Branding)
This course is FREE to individuals who:
- Are employed or unemployed
- Are a Greater Manchester Resident
- Aged 19+
- Earns less than £23,104
This course will provide you with an initial understanding of content creation and branding, equipping you with the skills necessary to develop engaging content and build a strong, recognisable brand. It covers a range of topics, including content tools, visual design, social media, SEO, PPC, email marketing, web design and brand identity development.
We have regular start dates for this course, once you have registered your interest a member of the team will contact you to arrange your start date.
On this 8 week course, we will cover:
- What You Need to Know to Get Started: Cyber Security & Information Governance
- Introduction to Content Creation Tools & Learning Platform
- Introduction to Social Media: Leveraging Social Media Marketing, Hints, Tips & Tricks for Writing on Social Media Platforms
- Tools and Technology
- Marketing Principles
- Content Creation
- Content for Web
- Getting Started with SEO, Paid Ads and Email Marketing
- Portfolio Building
This course is delivered online, attendance is required:
- Monday: 10am to 12pm
- Wednesday: 3pm to 5pm
- Thursday: 3pm to 5pm
Upon successful completion, you will achieve a Gateway Qualifications Level 2 Award in Digital and IT Skills.
This qualification does not have any formal entry requirements, but you must demonstrate the ability to study at Level 2. Prior to enrolment, you will complete assessments in Maths, English, and IT to ensure suitability for the course.
