Level 2 Learn Python (Computer Programming)
With a focus on Computer Programming, learners will learn about the principles of computer programming to understand how programming works.
Learners will also develop text-based programming skills to design and develop their own computer programs.
This course is delivered in the Python programming language and is designed to introduce learners to the world of computer programming.
On this 6-week course, learners will:
- Understand the principles of programming
- Be able to design a program in response to a client brief
- Be able to develop a program using a text-based programming language
- Be able to test, refine, document and review the program
This is a part-time course which is delivered online.
Learners will be required to attend virtually for 8 hours per week.
To apply for this course, applicants must have a GCSE Grade 4/A* or above in maths and English.
On successful completion, you will achieve a Level 2 Award in Digital and IT Skills.

*This course is FREE to individuals (including those who are employed on the day they start their programme of learning) who:
- Are a Greater Manchester Resident
- Aged 19+
- Earns less than £20,888
For anyone else, the course is £300.
