This apprenticeship is aimed at developing the skills and technical knowledge of new entrants into the industry or those staff identified as wanting to develop their knowledge and skills within the business whilst obtaining a professional industry qualification.
The standard is, therefore, of broad application across the insurance sector focusing on building the apprentice’s knowledge in key areas of the insurance market structure, compliance, and commercial awareness along with the communication, development skills and behaviours that underpin their role in the industry.
This is a work-based apprenticeship. You will benefit from 1-2-1 support on a regular basis in order to achieve competence as set against the knowledge, skills and behaviours set down in the apprenticeship standard.
On successful completion, you will achieve Cert CII/Cert CILA and provides professional membership of the Chartered Insurance Institute and/or the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjustors. It is also the first step on the route to an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) qualification or Associateship of the CILA (ACILA).
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade 4/C or above including maths and English.
