Green Improvement practitioners use a blend of Lean Six Sigma, project, and change management principles to deliver sustainable green business improvement projects. Leading green continuous improvement projects and being responsible for their success, while coaching teams and sharing best practices, they tackle issues that require in-depth analysis and the implementation of a range of effective and sustainable countermeasures.
As part of the Green Improvement Practitioner apprenticeship, the apprentice and their employer will agree on a project focused on reducing process waste, transport costs, energy use, etc.,
contributing to their overall carbon footprint reduction. The project will involve utilising the skills, knowledge, and behaviours learned throughout the apprenticeship, employing the DMAIC methodology.

The Green Improvement Practitioner Level 4 Apprenticeship equips apprentices with the advanced skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to drive sustainable process improvements within their organisation.

This is a work-based apprenticeship, apprentices will receive regular 1-to-1 support to help them achieve competence in line with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours outlined in the apprenticeship standard.
Apprentices will complete an End-Point Assessment (EPA), which includes:
• Multiple choice exam
• Project presentation & questions, evidence portfolio and project report
• Professional discussion supported by the learning log
Ideally, applicants will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including maths and English.
