To move on to the end-point assessment (EPA), you must show evidence of the required knowledge, skills, and behaviours as set out in the standard and have achieved maths and English (Level 1) and taken the test for Level 2.
The EPA is the final stage you will go through to complete your apprenticeship. You must demonstrate your learning to an independent end-point assessor, and the overall grade available is distinction, pass, or fail.
Attendance is required 1 day per week at the Greater Manchester SkillCentre in Trafford Park.
On successful completion, you will achieve a Level 2 Autocare Technician Apprenticeship Standard.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade 4/C or above or level 2 equivalent including maths and English.
If you do not hold the recommended English and maths qualifications then, you will need to achieve these prior to taking the end-point assessment.
