achieve the required outcomes for businesses and other organisations.

Associate Project Managers support the successful delivery of projects by planning, resourcing, scheduling and monitoring activities. They work across sectors, interact with internal and external stakeholders, and report to a Project Manager.

This is a work-based learning programme which is supported by:

  • Virtual one-to-one tutorials 
  • Completion of written narratives
  • Industry and teaching/coaching experts 
  • Continuous reflective professional discussions 
  • Tutor-led online group workshops 
What will I achieve?

On successful completion, you will achieve a Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship.

This apprenticeship provides eligibility for student membership of the Association for Project Management (APM) as the first step of professional membership.

What are the entry requirements?

The entry requirement for this apprenticeship will be decided by each employer however, you must have a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade 4/C or above or level 2 equivalent including maths and English.

Functional Skills is no longer a mandated requirement for apprentices aged 19 or above. However, some programmes may have minimum entry level requirements for English and maths due to the nature of the programme. Apprentices who wish to opt out of Functional Skills must have approval from their employer.
