Combining the Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship and the BCS Foundation Award in Generative AI.

Learners will gain an in-depth understanding of AI-driven generative models, including text, image, audio, and video generation. Throughout the programme, learners will explore state-of-the-art AI techniques, learn to build their own generative models, and understand the applications and ethical considerations of AI generation
technologies

Content creators work to a brief. They research, prepare and develop the messaging to maximise
audience engagement. They capture the strategy and objectives of the brand and needs of
the customer, client or business. The content they create can be used as part of media,
advertising, documenting and marketing campaigns.

As the Growth Company is a not-for-profit organisation, we will fund the following additional qualification as part of the apprenticeship: the BCS Foundation Award in Generative AI, alongside the Content Creator apprenticeship standard.

What does the course cover?

The content creator apprenticeship includes the following AI modules:

 

  • Content Creation and AI 101
  • Copywriting for Content and Generative A
  • AI and Non-AI Visual and Audio
  • Video and Animation Creation - AI and Non-AI
  • Social Media/Marketing and AI
  • Branding and Storytelling with AI
  • Understanding More Advanced AI and Non-AI Video Production
  • Data Management and AI
  • Motion Graphics and Special Effects Using AI and Non-AI
  • BCS Foundation Award – Generative AI

 

On this Level 3 Apprenticeship, apprentices will cover a range of knowledge, understanding and skills so you are able to:

  • Interpret the aims of your brief
  • Research ideas and concepts to meet the brief
  • Evaluate brand requirements and brand guidelines
  • Prepare a mood board or other visual aid for the content to be created
  • Present ideas, pitches and proposals for creative content to be further developed
  • Storyboard and outline script their ideas for content to be developed
  • Interpret data, consider its integrity and use it to inform content
  • Develop accessible written content for different platforms and devices
  • Apply best practices and inclusive language when creating content
  • Write and edit copy or scripts for use on different channels and platforms
  • Create or capture visuals and audio using standard packages and equipment
  • Source, obtain and prepare media assets for use; using industry-standard packages to adapt and edit content
  • Use industry standard tools and content management systems to organise, structure and label content effectively, methodically and securely enabling efficient search and retrieval
  • Identify and recommend the platform/s or channel/s to use for the media campaign.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers, establishing and using professional contacts
  • Engage and respond with audiences through social media, adapting content to respond to evolving circumstances
  • Monitor user experience to ensure content is focused on maximising engagement
  • Analyse the differences between audiences using audience segmentation techniques and data
  • Use lessons learned to evaluate the success of the content and identify areas for improvement for future campaigns
  • Use continuing professional development planning to support own current and future training and development needs
  • Operate effectively within the production workflow to meet production timelines
Attendance
  • Fortnightly attendance is required 
  • Additional training comprises of 1:1 coaching, online support and skills workshops that provide a fully remote learning approach.
What will I achieve?

On successful completion, learners will achieve a Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship Standard and a BCS Foundation Award in Generative AI.

Upon successful completion, of the Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship,
apprentices may progress to a Level 4 Marketing Executive Apprenticeship
or move into roles such as Content Assistant, or other content creation specialisms.

 

What are the entry requirements?
  • Ideally, applicants will hold a GCSE grade 4/C or above in maths and English or equivalent
  • Applicants must be employed in a creative job role
  • Applicants must demonstrate a proven passion for Content Production and Digital Media
