This is a government funded programme which has been designed to support your development of knowledge, skills and behaviours when working in a finance or accountancy role.
Whilst your job role will involve assisting in the day to day financial activities such as; recording transactions, data entry into accounting systems, adhering to general business policies and procedures.
This course is designed to help you to build and develop your interpersonal skills. Improve your knowledge of IT procedures, whilst demonstrating teamwork, collaboration and professionalism.

The course covers a range of skills that can be applied in the workplace and is supported by elements of an AAT qualification covering:
You will complete a synoptic exam covering the Business Environment and Bookkeeping elements. You will also build a portfolio of evidence during your apprenticeship journey and undergo a structed interview and complete an in-tray test as part of the End-Point Assessment process.
This is mainly a work based qualification with attendance required half a day per week.
On successful completion you will achieve a Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Certificate and a Full AAT Certificate in Accounting Level 2.
Ideally, you will hold a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade 4 or equivalent.
You must be employed in either a finance or accountancy role.
