About this opportunity

Avoira have an exciting apprenticeship role available. They are looking for a AV Engineer Apprentice to join their team in Bury. This is a varied role, ranging from maintenance and set of equipment to customer support and assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out all necessary training as agreed
• Take part and complete a prescribed apprenticeship program
• Assist the AV team with the installation of AV equipment, Video Conferencing, and digital signage equipment
• Ensure all installation work is completed to specified deadlines and follow AV service standards
• Carry out full testing of AV equipment
• Assist engineers in the process of preparing equipment for installation
• Liaise with customers in respect of installation issues
• Ensure customer records are accurately recorded
• Embrace change and provide constructive ideas for improving service, working methods and environment
• Any other duties required for the role

Key Outcomes:
• Successfully deliver an outstanding service of radio hire equipment for customers
• Successfully repair radios and quality check all items
• Provide excellent support to the engineering team
• Understands and can articulate company approach to radio communication solutions
