A fantastic opportunity has arisen with The Fruit Factory. They need an apprentice to join the team in their busy food processing unit in Rochdale. The right person will have an opportunity to work towards an apprenticeship in food processing
A normal day would include:
All aspects of fruit & vegetable preparation & processing for a wide variety of commercial & private customers
The role involves the processing of fruit and vegetables to be used in schools, businesses and private customers.
It will involve handling heavy containers of fruit and vegetable.
Preparing fruit and veg to be used in catering.
Using relevant machinery and processes in preparing food for commercial and private usage
Labelling products for distribution.
Stock control
Ensuring all areas of food processing are maintained to the necessary hygiene standards

What you should have to apply
Ideally grades C (or 4) and above in GCSE maths and English but this is not essential

Location
Production Apprentice
Production Apprentice and kickstart your career in cosmetics manufacturing. You’ll gain hands-on experience, learn how to operate machinery and ensure high-quality products are produced efficiently and safely.
Logistics & Online Orders Apprentice
Join Thirsty Drinks as an Apprentice supporting online order fulfilment, stock management, and shop-floor operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience in logistics, customer collections, returns processing, and general warehouse organisation.
Production & Warehouse Apprentice
An exciting opportunity to join the production team at Thirsty Drinks as a manufacturing Apprentice. You’ll work on the shop floor supporting pallet stacking, product case assembly, production line operations, and quality control.
