General Construction Operative Apprentice

About this opportunity

You will work on and be fully trained in kerbing, installing drainage, paving, concreting and general civil engineering and landscaping works. You will receive full training and work towards becoming a skilled tradesman.

A normal day would include:
Meeting on site or at an arranged pick up point you will be working with experienced ground workers. The role involves a substantial amount of physical labour and working outdoors so you will need to be prepared for this.

As part of your apprenticeship you will attend college one day per week over two years and work towards your NVQ whilst in the workplace.

What you should have to apply

If you don’t have grade C GCSE in maths and English, you will be required to do functional skills whilst attending college.
