Information Drop-in Sessions: Access to Higher Education

Join us for our Information Drop-in Sessions to learn more about our Access to Higher Education (HE) courses starting in January 2025! These sessions are a fantastic opportunity to get all the information you need and speak one-to-one with our knowledgeable tutors.
What is an Access to HE Course? An Access to Higher Education Diploma is a Level 3 qualification designed to prepare individuals without traditional qualifications for university study.
Courses starting January 2025:
- Access to Higher Education Diploma in Business
- Access to Higher Education Diploma in Counselling and Psychology
- Access to Higher Education Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery
- Access to Higher Education Diploma in Health and Social Care Professions
What to Expect at the Drop-in Sessions:
- One-to-One Tutor Meetings: Speak directly with our tutors to get personalised advice and answers to your questions.
- Course Information: Learn about the different Access to HE courses we offer and how they can help you achieve your educational and career goals.
- Application Guidance: Get help with the application process and understand the entry requirements.
- Career Advice: Discover how an Access to HE course can open doors to various career paths and further education opportunities.

We are delighted to be able to invite young people to our face-to-face Open Events where they will be able to have a look around our Centre and speak to our tutors.
Our Tameside Training Centre is located in Ashton-under-Lyne (behind Cineworld) only a 5-minute walk from the Metrolink and Town Centre.
You can join our programmes at any time throughout the year so, we are holding monthly Open Events, there is no need to book an appointment you can just pop in on any of the dates below between 10am and 2pm.
