Study Programme Learners Participate in United Foundation Football Tournament

Students from our study programmes had an exciting day with the Manchester United Foundation as they participated in a football tournament hosted for our various training centres across Greater Manchester. The event brought together young people aged 16 to 18 from different parts of the region, fostering a sense of community and teamwork.

Held at The Cliff Training Ground, the tournament featured teams representing multiple training centres, all competing in a series of friendly matches. The day was filled with enthusiasm and sportsmanship, as learners showcased their football skills and enjoyed the chance to connect with peers from other programmes.

The Manchester United Foundation, known for its commitment to youth development, organised the event to promote physical activity, teamwork, and personal growth among young people. The learners not only had the opportunity to play football but also engaged in activities aimed at building confidence and leadership skills.

Participants left the event inspired and energised, with many expressing their eagerness to take part in future tournaments and activities. The day was a resounding success, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in supporting the well-being and development of young people.
