Information for Learners
As you will be aware the majority of England is now being placed into Tier 4 restrictions in a bid to halt the rapidly rising level of Covid-19 infections across the country. These new tighter Stay at Home restrictions will come into force at midnight on Thursday December 31 in order to ease pressure on the NHS and save lives.
In line with the latest Government rules, we will be reverting to remote delivery of our educational services, for the majority of our learners. Our centres will not be reopening on January 4 as we had hoped to do, and all learning will be delivered remotely until further notice. This includes our centre in St. Helens. We will be in touch with you in the week commencing 4 January to inform you directly on next steps and when we foresee our centres being re-opened in line with Government updates.
In the meantime, we are committed to continuing to provide a high quality of online education. Learning and delivery will continue remotely as has been the case throughout recent months. In line with our values, our centres will however remain open for those students who are vulnerable, and we will contact those learners individually.
Clearly, this is a worrying time for many people, and as a responsible employer and educator your health and safety is our first priority. We know that the risk of transmission can be substantially reduced if COVID-19 secure guidelines are followed closely, so it’s vitally important we all follow the rules.
If you have any questions please contact your tutor or the centre you usually attend and we will endeavour to get back to you within 2 working days.
