Preparing to Teach in the Education and Training Sector course is designed for new entrants to the lifelong learning sector. Covering the fundamental elements involved in planning, preparing and implementing learning in your subject area, our Level 4 course is designed to introduce you to the core ideas and knowledge underpinning a career in the teaching profession.

The course requires 7 days of attendance (one day per week for 7 weeks) plus, some time must be dedicated to independent study.
Attendance is required every Friday, 10am - 2.30pm.
Attendees can either attend face-to-face at our GM SkillCentre in Trafford park or online via Zoom. Applicants must select their preferred delivery method during the application process.
On successful completion you will achieve a Level 4 Preparing to Preparing to Teach in the Education and Training Sector.
You should have a Level 3 qualification in a subject relevant to the area you wish to teach, along with relevant up-to-date experience in that specialism.
