This nationally recognised qualification prepares learners to work as event stewards at sporting events, concerts, and festivals. It develops the essential skills needed to ensure the safety and smooth running of large public events.

On this course, you will explore essential topics related to spectator safety.
The curriculum covers the following key areas:
Prepare for Spectator Events
Assist with Spectator Movement and Crowd Issues
Help to Manage Spectator Events
Deal with Incidents at Spectator Events
On successful completion, learners will achieve a Highfield Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety.
Delivery:
In person (venues to be confirmed for each cohort)
5 days teach + 2 days observation
Class times 9:30am – 4:30pm
Must live in GM
Can provide proof of right to live and work in the UK
Must be employed, earning less than £25,750
Can commit to the duration of course
Not on any other ASF funded course
You must have access to a work or industry placement experience (often arranging to steward at sports matches, concerts, or festivals) as workplace observations are mandatory
Proof of basic first aid or medical training. Proof will be required
ACT (Action Counters Terrorism) Awareness: E-learning training. Proof will be required.
