The projects managed by a project manager can be large or small and are defined/delivered within different contexts and complexities, across diverse industry sectors. The programme focuses on the development of good planning, organisation, leadership, management and communication skills.

This is a work-based learning programme which is supported by:

  • E-learning and online assessment for Project Management Fundamentals (PMF)
  • E-learning for the Project Management Qualification (PMQ)
  • Virtual one-to-one tutorials 
  • Completion of written narratives
  • Industry and teaching/coaching experts 
  • Continuous reflective professional discussions 
What will I achieve?

On successful completion, you will achieve a Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship.

This apprenticeship is underpinned by the Association for Project Management (APM) Project Management Qualification (PMQ).

This apprenticeship provides eligibility for student membership of the Association for Project Management (APM) as the first step of professional membership.

What are the entry requirements?

The entry requirement for this apprenticeship will be decided by each employer however, you must have a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade 4/C or above or level 2 equivalent including maths and English.

If you do not hold the recommended English and maths qualifications then, you will need to achieve these prior to taking the end-point assessment.

How much does the course cost?

There is no charge to the apprentice. The funding band value for this apprenticeship standard is £6000.
