About this opportunity

A great opportunity to become a member of the administration team. You will be part of a forward looking supportive team and have the opportunity to gain experiences in all aspects of admin in an operational care setting.

A normal day would include:

• Be central point of contact for Bolton, Salford and Wigan Cares Operations teams
• Assist with the organisation of diaries and calendars
• Contribute to the organisation of meetings and events
• Attend meetings, takes notes/minutes and produce appropriate final documentation
• Transcribe and produce documents from recorded speech
• Organise business travel and accommodation
• Design, create and produce documents, e.g. letters, presentations, reports, newsletters
• Photocopy, reproduce, distribute and process documents
• Contribute to the management of intranet content and social media pages for the services you support
• Deal with post and deliveries as needed
• Undertake reception duties and receive and assist visitors
• Process orders for goods and services
• Assist in the receipting, recording, monitoring and making of payments in line with company policies, processes and procedures
• Effectively plan and organise your work so that it can be completed to a high standard and to the required deadlines
• Ensure that information is managed in line with the company’s, policies, processes and procedures for confidentiality and data protection
• Enter, update and retrieve data from the company’s information systems and databases, e.g. logging complaints and compliments, processing starters and leavers
• Undertake administrative processes to support Operations to ensure that they are compliant, e.g. processing DBS checks, completing driver checks, processing holiday requests
• Support Operations to collect and collate information for internal and external monitoring and reporting purposes, e.g. maintaining registers of care hours for contract monitoring
• Feed data to others within the company to agreed deadlines
• Any other duties, as directed by the Admin Manager
