How long does the programme take?

The Summer Programme will take 4 - 6 weeks to complete depending on which centre you choose.

You will complete the programme in time for teaching to start in September. However, you do not need to be starting a course with us in September to be able to enrol on to the Summer Programme.

What allowance will I receive?

You will earn up to £30 per week.

What will I do on the programme?

Our Summer Programme is designed to improve your employability skills with activities to build your confidence, team building and digital skills.

You can join in the practical sessions which include:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Construction
  • Well-being support
  • Mental health support
  • Day trips
  • Photography
  • Outdoor activities (water sports, orienteering)

Please note - sessions may differ between Training Centres

If you do not wish to join in the practical sessions, you can take part in our online digital activities.

If you do not already hold a Digital Skills qualification, then we will support you in achieving this during the programme.
