This fully-funded Level 3 Management and Leadership course is designed to offer you valuable insight into Project Management and will help to develop the key knowledge and skills of the Project Management profession.

You do not have to be in a Project Manager role to complete this course.

What does the course cover?

This qualification is broken down into units and relevant topics which are aligned to the level and qualification. Typical units for the Level 3 Principles of Management and Leadership include:

  • Project Governance
  • Stakeholder and Communication Management
  • Project Leadership
  • Consolidated planning
  • Collaboration and teamwork
  • Risk and Issue Management
  • Contributing to the delivery of a Project
What is the duration of the course?

The duration is dependent on the pathway you choose to take:

Part-time pathway 

7 weeks (attendance required 1 day per week)

This pathway is ideal for those who are in full-time employment and unable to be released from the business for a condensed course. This pathway also includes optional weekly drop-in support sessions.

Full-time pathway

Attendance is required for between 5 and 7 full consecutive days.

This pathway is ideal for those who are able to engage in full-time learning and prefer to condense their learning.

What will I achieve?

On successful completion of all the selected units, you will achieve a Level 3 Award in Principles of Management and Leadership. You will also achieve a broad understanding of some of the fundamental elements of Project Management.

What are the entry requirements?

To apply for a place on this fully-funded course, you must be 16+, employed and live or work in the Greater Manchester area.
