This qualification will support you embark on your first experience of work in the Health, Adult Care and Child Care sectors.
You will gain an understanding of the Health, Adult Care and Child Care sectors alongside gaining essential employability knowledge and skills.

To achieve this qualification, you must achieve a minimum of 17 credits made up from mandatory and optional units, your Tutor will go through this with you in more detail.

If you do not hold the relevant English and maths qualifications, you will work towards them as part of this programme.

On successful completion you will achieve a Level 1 Certificate for Working in Health, Adult and Child Care Sectors.
You will be able to understand and demonstrate suitable work, personal skills, attitudes, thinking and behaviour. You will be more confident at interview, completing an application and on your first day working in the sector.
Yes, you will receive an allowance of up to £30 per week.
There are no formal entry requirements however, you will need to attend an informal interview.
The course is FREE for anyone aged 16-18.
