Your team: Global Financing Services…
You’ll be working in Global Financial Services (GFS) within the equities division of the investment bank. The team support and interact with some of the most exciting asset and hedge fund managers in the world, helping them with the core services they require to run their business, as well as a full suite of advisory services.
You’ll help with day to day tasks including:
• Helping the sales team to manage their pipeline of business via spreadsheets
• Helping to maintain and update sales pitch books and pitch presentations
• Maintaining team organisation charts and business update packs
• Client health checks – deep dive on clients' books of business to create client health checks as well as identifying business opportunities
• Creating, maintaining and managing large event invite lists
• Assisting with event planning
Our apprentices will assist a variety of teams within GFS. They will be responsible for helping analyse and deliver data to support business enablement and decision making. You will be responsible for ensuring that important business management and project related processes are completed quickly and accurately. You will gain a very detailed understanding of the financial markets as well as establish your own client relationships.
For the first 18 months of your apprenticeship you will be studying towards your level 3 investment operations certificate (IOC). You will then have the opportunity to progress onto various different high level apprenticeship schemes, where you have the potential to gain the equivalent to a bachelors undergraduate degree, such as the level 6 financial services apprenticeship which includes the CFA level 1, an industry recognised qualification worldwide.
What you could go on to do:
You can take on the role of platform sales business manager with the opportunity to work towards a junior sales person or client service relationship manager.
How you will be supported:
You will be supported by a junior member of the sales team together with support from the program, your line manager, team, mentor and HR.

- B/Level 6 Grades in GCSE maths and English language
- A-levels required: BCC or equivalent (104 UCAS Points)
